Rick Hoch, Owner and Corporate President, has over 35 years experience in construction. Rick began working in construction with his parents and brothers as a teenager. He won a state award in High School through VICA in carpentry and represented Washington State in the National competition in Washington D.C. He also won 3rd place in the 1975 Washington State Apprenticeship Contest. He started employment with Delguzzi Construction and advanced to foreman and site supervisor while running the construction of the local “Civic Field”. In 1982, he and wife Terry started Hoch Construction, Inc. doing small residential remodels & additions that have expanded to both residential and commercial with projects exceeding $3,000,000.00. Rick loves to hunt and fish. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children and especially his six grandchildren.
Kyle Priest, Superintendent and job site foreman has been with Hoch Construction since August of 2004. Always determined to be a business owner, he has taken on the challenge of trying to learn all of Rick’s vast knowledge of construction so that someday, he and wife Carrie will be able to keep the business going strong. One of the project estimators and safety manager, he is also in charge of employment hiring and scheduling, and the contact for any off hour emergencies. Kyle is an avid fisherman and also enjoys hunting and dirt bike riding. He enjoys the great outdoors, and spending time with his wife and four children.
Carrie Priest is the daughter of Rick and Terry Hoch and the Corporate Treasurer. She Employee Carrie Priest accompanied her father to job sites as a child and worked for her parents on and off as a teenager immersing her in the construction trade most of her life. Being part of the family business was not originally part of her lifelong plans. She was working in billing and collections for a medical office when husband Kyle asked her to consider going to work for Hoch Construction, and run the company together as efficiently as her parents. When she is not trying to learn the operations of a construction company, she spends time with her husband and their four children and enjoys a good shopping day with her Best Friend (Mom).
Amy McBride, our office assistant, has been assisting in all jobs in the office since September of 2009. She is thorough and is especially good at organization and multitasking. She has been with her husband for a happy 20 years. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being a mother and is a taxi driver, coach and fan club for her three children.
